DEMDACO Artiscents Collection Sachet Pillows and Door Pillows Market Withdrawal
DEMDACO is conducting a voluntary market withdrawal for 15 sachet pillow and door pillow SKUs from the Artiscents Collection. This market withdrawal has been initiated because some of the shipped product may be contaminated with booklice. Investigation and communication with an independent expert has confirmed that there are no health consequences or safety risk with the product. Although the existence of the booklice is considered to be only a nuisance, its possible presence would be below our quality standards for the product.
Please examine your inventory and immediately dispose of all Artiscents sachet pillows and door pillows you have subject to this market withdrawal. To receive a credit for the disposed product, please call our Customer Care department at 888-336-3226 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST, Monday-Friday. Customers will receive a full refund after confirmation of the number of disposed items.

At this time, there have been no reports of any adverse reactions occurring from use of the product, however, the recall is being conducted because use of the product may pose a potential health hazard for immune-compromised people and/or those with skin lesions, due to the possible presence of bacteria.
If you received this specific product, please examine your inventory and secure any remaining product. Please then contact DEMDACO’s Customer Care department at 888-336-3226 ext. 5. A Customer Care representative will provide instructions on how to return the affected product. Customers will receive a full refund for the value of the returned product after it is received by DEMDACO.
DEMDACO maintains strict manufacturing standards for product quality, and the issue was discovered as a result of product testing related to these standards.
